The Ultimate 90s One-Hit Wonders Playlist

The Ultimate 90s One-Hit Wonders Playlist My Weekly Mixtape

This week, I’m joined by Trevor Dale—co-host of Album Divers—as we build a nostalgic playlist featuring our favorite 90s one-hit wonder songs.

We’re highlighting those unforgettable tracks from artists who briefly dominated the airwaves before disappearing from the charts. Our one-hit wonder criteria? If an artist had more than one song reach the Billboard Hot 100 Top 40, they were out. But if they never cracked the Top 40, yet had a widely recognized hit, they made the cut!

Get ready for a trip back to the 1990s with catchy hooks, radio staples, and the ultimate “where are they now?” soundtrack!

    • I’ve always been a huge Concrete Blonde fan, and while technically you’re 100% correct as “Joey” was their only top 20 hit, there were too many songs that charted on the US alternative & rock charts for me to consider them.

Absolutely amazing song though. Thanks for listening! 🤘🏼
