Inside the Album: Eric Bass Presents… I Had A Name (feat. Eric Bass of Shinedown) My Weekly Mixtape

This week, Shinedown’s Eric Bass joins me to take a deep dive into his debut solo concept album “I Had A Name; the graphic novel that he’s working on alongside of the release; & the stories behind album tracks such as “Mind Control, “Goodnight Goodnight, “Azalia” & so much more!

And, of course we found some time to talk a little Shinedown as well, including: how his role in the band has evolved since joining during “The Sound Of Madness” cycle; solely producing the band’s last two studio records “Attention Attention” & “Planet Zero” (both of which were concept albums); their cover of Carole King’s “I Feel The Earth Move,” which was recorded at Henson Studios for their “The Warner Sound Live Room” EP; and the scoop behind several upcoming songs that will be featured on Shinedown # 8 (which the band is currently working on)!

Also, be sure to check out our OTHER Shinedown related episode this week, as Barry Kerch, Shinedown’s drummer, joins me to talk about songs from all across the band’s discography, along with their two newest singles “Dance, Kid, Dance” & “Three Six Five.” You can find that episode HERE.
