  1. I just listened to this episode and your 2 Live Crew story made me laugh. As Nasty as They Wanna Be is the very first cassette I ever bought with my own money. My mother took me to the record store and while I was checking out the cashier looked at my mom and said “you know this is really dirty” and my mom looked at him and said “as long as I don’t have to listen to it I don’t care, it just music. My mother hated Elvis and The Beatles and I turned out fine, I’m sure he will be alright as well.” I was 11
